Overview
Four Days, Three Parks, One Unforgettable Journey
Tanzania's Northern Circuit is the most celebrated safari route in Africa, and this 4-day itinerary captures its essence with elegance and efficiency. You begin in Tarangire — home to Tanzania's largest elephant population and a landscape of ancient baobab trees that create some of the most photogenic game viewing on the continent.
Day two delivers the Ngorongoro Crater — a full day inside the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, where 25,000 animals live in a natural amphitheatre. The final two days are devoted to the Serengeti, giving you three game drives across the central Seronera Valley, where big cat sightings are among the most reliable in Africa.;;;;

Useful Information
- Best Time to Go June to October offers the best general game viewing. January to March is calving season in the southern Serengeti with extraordinary predator action. The parks are rewarding year-round, with each season offering a different perspective.
- How much driving is involved each day? Game drives typically last 3–5 hours with breaks for coffee, lunch and photography. The vehicle is a private 4x4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof, fridge, charging points and comfortable seats. Road transfers between parks average 2–3 hours but are themselves scenic game drives — you are in wildlife areas the entire time.
- What accommodation standard can I expect? We use luxury tented camps and lodges with en-suite bathrooms, hot showers, fine dining and exceptional service. Properties are typically small (8–20 rooms) and positioned for the best views and wildlife access. Specific properties are confirmed at booking based on availability, but all are personally vetted by our team.
- Can children join this safari? Yes — this is one of our most family-friendly itineraries. We recommend a minimum age of 6 for game drives. We can adjust the pace, add child-friendly activities and book family suites at each property. Private vehicles mean you control the schedule completely.
