  • How does Mauritius compare to Seychelles? Mauritius offers more cultural diversity (Creole, Indian, Chinese, French influences), more activities (hiking, catamaran cruises, rum distilleries), and generally better value than Seychelles. Seychelles has more dramatic beach scenery — those iconic granite boulders. Mauritius is more developed with a broader range of resorts and restaurants. Both are beautiful; the choice often comes down to the type of experience you want.
