Day 1 Arrival- Lake Bunyonyi Cultural & Adventure Tour: You’ll be picked up from Kigali Airport or your accommodation by our guide and transferred to the border town of Katuna. From there, continue your scenic journey to Lake Bunyonyi. Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise across the lake, learning about its history, including the story of Punishment Island. Visit a local craft center where artisans teach traditional basket weaving, mat-making, and wood carving. Meet a traditional herbalist who will share the healing properties of local plants. Afterward, savor a lakeside lunch with fresh fish, matoke, and vegetables. In the afternoon, engage in a cultural exchange with local elders, gaining insights into Bakiga traditions, music, and dance.
