- Best departures are in the early morning for the highest chance of spotting the Shoebill. Tour duration is approximately 4–5 hours. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Travel by road and traditional wooden canoe through the Mabamba Wetland. Wear comfortable clothing, a hat, and closed shoes. Bring binoculars, a camera, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
