Overview
Five Days in the Pearl of Africa
Uganda delivers extraordinary wildlife density and diversity. This 5-day itinerary pairs its two most celebrated experiences — gorilla trekking in Bwindi and classic savannah game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Uganda's gorilla permits are significantly more affordable than Rwanda's ($700 vs $1,500), making this one of the best-value gorilla experiences available.

- Is Bwindi more challenging than Volcanoes (Rwanda)? Generally yes. Bwindi's terrain is steeper and the forest is denser. Most treks take 3-6 hours on hilly, often muddy trails. The experience is correspondingly more adventurous. Porters are available and strongly recommended.
