Itinerary

Day 01

Windhoek to Sossusvlei Region

Arrive Windhoek. Drive south to the Namib Desert. Settle into your desert lodge. Afternoon sundowner walk on the property.

Day 02

Sossusvlei & Deadvlei — Dune Dawn

Pre-dawn departure into Sossusvlei. Climb Dune 45 for sunrise. Deadvlei — ancient camel thorn trees against the white clay pan and orange dunes. One of the most photographed landscapes on earth.

Day 03

Namib to Swakopmund

Drive through the Namib-Naukluft National Park. Arrive at the coastal town of Swakopmund — German colonial architecture and excellent seafood. Dinner at a waterfront restaurant.

Day 04

Swakopmund Activities & Damaraland

Morning marine cruise in Walvis Bay — seals, dolphins, pelicans. Afternoon drive to Damaraland — ancient granite formations and desert-adapted elephants.

Day 05

Damaraland to Etosha — First Waterhole

Morning visit to Twyfelfontein — UNESCO rock engravings dating back 6,000 years. Drive to Etosha National Park. Evening at your lodge's floodlit waterhole.

Day 06

Full Day Etosha — Waterhole Safari

Full day exploring Etosha's waterholes. Lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffes and antelope all converge. The Etosha Pan — a vast, shimmering-white salt pan — dominates the landscape.

Day 07

Final Etosha Morning & Return

Dawn game drive and one last visit to your favourite waterhole. Drive back to Windhoek for your onward flight.
